The Pentine Story
The story of the Pentine Affix begins with my parents George and Sheila Baker
from Serpentine Road, Fareham, England. They started showing English Setters in 1973.
This is when the “Pentine” name got its start. I had a grooming business in
the 80’s, as well as breeding and showing the setters with my parents.
Over the years members of the Baker family qualified 11 English Setters
for the Crufts Dog Show in London.
In 2003 when I moved to the U.S. I brought the Pentine name with me, and in 2004
my parents gave my husband Mark and I an interest in the Affix through the U.K. Kennel Club.
I have over 20 years experience and I am delighted to carry on my work as a family groomer here in Colorado.
